Easy way forward regarding Application Security

I like how easy it was for us, as developers of our application, to integrate this product into both development environments (JavaScript/NodeJS) and production deployment processes - we were able even more so than when using another tool. The reporting system can be improved in terms of usability but other aspects are very good from my point-of view. I would not recommend this solution if you have strict requirements towards quality control because there could be some issues with code formatting or similar things which might lead your team further away from desired outcomes rather then closer. We had been looking around at different solutions (like AppScanner, QRadar etc.) trying to find something flexible enough for use out of Azure Web Apps environment. With Aspia integration turned on automatically during build phase everything looked pretty much OK to me in termes of scanning performance. Our users really appreciate simplicity of product usage and their ability to trust us by doing nothing after app installation on.

Pros
  • This automation tools support also helps avoid wasting time spent debugging failures related directly connected tests written via developer's account without access rights needed otherwise :)
Cons
  • Sometimes results report looks quite messy while being generated within VS Code
