I love these combs! They are exactly what I expected based on the picture. As for the things I've noticed, others are complaining. Durability: I find them well made, but you have to use them properly. I don't find them to bend too easily unless you do it on purpose. Probably not the best brush for detangling thick hair, but I didn't even think it was a good idea.2. I don't find them spicy or uncomfortable. I use the last one pictured with the mannequin to brush my 2 month old's fine hair so that says it all. The rat tail works great, but be sure to keep it out of the reach of children. I was surprised by the result, they really helped reduce static electricity. Even my thin, thin, trash-quality hair looked better afterward, which I wasn't expecting at all. I bought them because I try to keep my space minimal and aesthetic, so I avoid colorful and plastic items whenever possible. These combs are beautiful, functional and true to the product description. If you think they might work for you for any reason, I recommend buying one. Good value for money (lowest price I've found).
