Allergies have been terrible in the Northeast this year. It's bad enough that we didn't take as many allergy pills and didn't use the air filter we already had 24/7. We now have three including this one but we bought this one as we needed a slightly larger unit for our master bedroom. The manufacturer says a replacement filter will be available soon, so we ordered one. I like that the filter can be monitored and controlled over Wi-Fi. The quality of this device is excellent. It is better than our Winix air filter. I know it has more surface area with the canister design since my wood shop has two of these large canister filters. At the same time, the air purifier is noticeably quieter even at medium settings. When we know the pollen count is high, we let it rise before we go to bed. The device looks heavy, but it is solid. The filter is on the back and appears to be of good quality. Of course, the most important thing is that it is very good for us and we can sleep better at night without all those colds. Highly recommend if like us you have severe allergies!
