They don't look at photos online.
I thought the original brushes were broken because of the many scratches on the handles. My second set had even more scratches than the first. Then I thought something was wrong with the handles because they looked dented like they had been stepped on when I first saw them unwrapped. TLDR; they look very cheap. However, these are decent brushes. I've tested them for occasional shine and they've held up well. No protruding bristles or anything, very easy to clean. 4 stars for purple/pink cheap handles but good quality bristles.
