Purchased to replace the previous Antsy Labs fidget cube. I noticed widespread reports that Antsy Labs had switched to a lower manufacturer, so I decided to give it a try instead. I'm not sure if my original version was before or after this transition, so I'm not sure that's a valid comparison to the current state of the more well-known fidget cube brand. But overall this one looks good. Some elements (joystick and knobs) protrude more than on a "regular" dice, making handling a bit awkward, and the edges of the thumb groove are less smooth. However, every function works. The two gears on the ball bearing side spin fairly loose/loose, while the one is more "clicky" which I can only assume is intentional. The ability to rotate smoothly rather than jerkily is good for tactile variety. The disc spins smoothly without the drag of the original, which I find somewhat lacking, but that's a matter of taste. The switch doesn't balance between the two extremes, but it does have a satisfactory resilience. Overall I'd say it's just as good as the official one I had, just different in a few ways. There are visible seams where the components fit together, but so was the original. It could definitely be done better but for the price I paid it seems quite acceptable.
