Until yesterday I was using a small radiator in a ten meter long underground to protect pipes from freezing, but decided that it was too dangerous and a waste of energy, so I bought this product and spent a year and a half Hours there to put his on. An absolute nightmare, with old insulation, dust and dirt in the back and only 30 inches of headroom to work. Result? First Frozen Pipes! After installation I tested the product with an ice pack as recommended and it lit up but there must be something wrong with the thermostat because although it was 15F last night it wasn't on when I check my now frozen pipes went! NOT SUITABLE FOR THE PURPOSE as we say at home! Now. I have to remove it to make a return. Can I please give less than one star?
