I would highly recommend them if your driver is in training. I have two teenagers learning to drive (please send prayers - ha!) and they felt like extra security in them. We live in a metropolitan area with quite a lot of traffic. Previously, other drivers sat behind us, angrily passed us, etc. When one of them turns on, the vast majority of drivers slow down and give us space. I watch a car approach us from behind and I can tell when they see the magnet because they immediately slow down. My kids even got smiles and thumbs up. Of course, this doesn't kill impatient drivers completely, but it kills it powerfully. My kids are more comfortable in it. The magnets themselves are perfect. They stick securely to the car, but peel off easily without leaving any marks. We put them on when the kids are driving and take them off when they're not. Driving on most roads we only use one rear. On freeways and downtown we have one in the back and one on each front door of the car.
