Review on π Advanced Lowrance HDS-Live Fish Finder with Multi-Touch Screen, Live Sonar Compatibility, and Preloaded C-MAP US Enhanced Mapping by Josh Elkins
Fantastically easy to use
I had Lowrance units for a long time, so the transition to this new unit was easy. However, it is full of many new features. I bought it because I also bought a Lowrance Halo 24 radar but I couldn't connect them. Lowrance sent me a new cable to see if that fixed the problem but they were of great help. Very slow but helpful. The HDS-9 connects easily to my other Lowrance unit, I use sonar in one and charts in the other. With it I can mark waypoints, decoys etc. on the sonar and then navigate to them via the map. Ideal for jigging in salt water. I recommend this product.
