Converse Chuck Taylor has been my go-to shoe for five years. Chucks mostly don't have arch support or padding, but I like them for their classic style and partly for the nostalgia factor. When my last pair broke I decided to try something new and bought these Stan Smiths and they are fabulous! They are so soft and comfortable from day one and I can wear them all day to take the kids to the zoo or to go shopping. In any case, they also have clear lines and a high nostalgia factor and are also very comfortable. Sizing can be tricky and I had to order 2.5 sizes smaller than my usual women's shoe size, although the rule of thumb has worked for me in the past is to order two sizes smaller for men's sizes. Luckily, Revain offers free returns, so don't worry!
