My cat reacted badly to her new litter. The skin became very irritated and inflamed. Because of this, she began licking and tearing at her fur. Bought this cone to help her get well (along with the medicated cat spray which was an absolute life saver). 5 days later, the irritated skin has almost returned to normal and is still in a cone at the moment. She doesn't mind, she can eat and drink without any problems, but she seems to have trouble sleeping. (Which she just propped her head/cone in something to be comfortable) She couldn't get the cone off her and that was my main concern. The cone has a nice soft edge that doesn't dig into the skin.
