Does what it's supposed to do

I bought this to use in the car and have Garmin talk to me/direct me (Garmin just beeps without it). The voice works with this mount and I like the charger because I don't have to plug the cable directly into the Garmin. The only thing I don't like is that Garmin has gone to great lengths to make all of their products proprietary - GPS, an annual contract for a city navigation system, buying Birdseye maps and now this stand. It all works in the end, but it is expensive.
