I am a big fan of diamond painting and have tried different storage methods. They're fine for this purpose, but I prefer them for beads (larger than pearls) or other small items that are larger than diamond painting gems. The size of the compartments is larger than required for regular diamond painting projects. Lids can also leak easily if diamonds get stuck in the back edge near the hinges, e.g. B. if the case is accidentally dropped or turned over. These are really good containers and I love how the compartments open. The lids don't exactly open and close well, but they're not very tight around the hinges. Not bad and should be safe to use, but can be problematic with very small items like diamonds if shaken vigorously. Lids are a good size for tagging labels; You don't have to write super-lowercase like other container options require. So consider your needs and usage habits. If you hate handling small containers, this is an especially good choice as the compartments are at least twice the size of most diamond painting containers.
