I replaced my original k40 mirrors with these silicone lenses. They worked well, but after a few weeks my ability to cut began to fade. After a quick check, mirrors #2 and #3 were scratched. A few days later the last remaining mirror (#1) broke while cutting. The scratches were caused by rough handling, and the cracks were most likely due to a lack of cleaning, so I don't really blame the mirrors: they're just a little brittle. I later installed a set of moly mirrors. When cutting 3mm thick MDF (my most common cutting material) the expected drop in performance was not noticeable and the mirrors held up well. I'
