Hard to believe but we live in a time where we need both a DVD player and a VCR. We need a DVD player to watch all the beautiful movies that are available for purchase, and we need a VCR because most video stores have cassettes for rent. With this set you get the best of both worlds, so you can be satisfied with any way you watch a movie. There really isn't anything to complain about with this product.
