Ideal for large rock lamps (not salt lamps)

This is not suitable for Himalayan salt lamps as you need the heat of an incandescent lamp to keep the salt crystals dry and release negative ions (healthy, in places such as oceans, waterfalls, etc. found in abundance) into the air. However, with my very large selenite lamp, the tiny night bulbs couldn't illuminate it well, and there's a maximum wattage you can use without it overheating. Also, I found that the hole drilled for the lantern was only about 6 inches deep, even though the selenite itself had a maximum height of 18 inches. This ruled out using an LED panel as most of the options I found are over 8 inches. I didn't have anything suitable around the perimeter to wrap the thin wires around, so you see my fancy solution to this - I wrapped the light. Around the rubber spatula for the icing (so as not to break the thin wires), gently peel and round a bit as I inserted it into the lamp. I then used painters tape to attach the cord coming out of the bottom so the light is not intended to be used in a lamp and has no foundation. I find the light illuminates the lamp nicely and I am very happy with the result and that there is no risk of the lamp overheating. As mentioned, I initially had problems with flashing etc. (and no instructions). Returning to the listing, I found that the instructions are in the penultimate photo of the product. I just took a screenshot and printed out the image. I then decided to scale it down and just double tape a small copy to the back of the remote for handy use, although I intend to keep it at #1 with constant light. (Prior to diving into the instructions, I also discovered through trial and error that after fumbling with the buttons on the plug, the lights just stayed on constantly when plugged in or unplugged. Not ideal, but I could live with that if I did ' I don't get it.) I didn't use a timer so I can't comment on that, but I checked the timer lights and they work as advertised. It would be nice if instructions were included, but as I said, just take a picture and print it out. Overall I'm very happy with how this worked for my needs. UPDATE: Still very happy with it. I noticed a small oddity. If you leave them plugged in, the indicators will light up when you power cycle (even if they were turned off before the power was turned off). I connected them to a surge protector, but I leave power for other items connected to it. It doesn't matter much, but what to consider when a storm is raging or there are strange changes in the electricity grid and you suddenly have the light in your room (we've had a few instances where the electricity went out). off and on). lately). I have this lamp in my office so it's not a problem for me because it doesn't disturb my sleep. I just have to remember to turn it off in case the power goes out during the day and I'm not in the same room. Obviously it's more noticeable at night and I turn it off when I notice that unexpected glow. Since they don't get hot and don't require a lot of power, that's not an issue for me, but I thought I'd mention it for those who plan on using them in the bedroom (though I'd just keep the remote by the bed, eh use an easy-to-access and easy-to-remove plug).
