Used in a cage for rodents. They can be easily attached to the bars and do not slip. Bought two of these and the difference in quality is obvious. One of the bowls slides in and out of the holder very easily, making it easy to change foods. The other one is too big for the holder and basically always "gets stuck" in the holder so I have to pull out the old food by hand as it takes too much pressure to push the bowl out causing all the old food to fly everywhere . .
