My husband had a couple of cracked fingertips after construction work in the winter. Using it protected his fingertips and allowed them to heal in just a few days. He used bandages, but they didn't hold up well. They stayed in place, and when they curled up, they could easily be rolled back. They've served well, he's only used a few and is saving the rest for next winter when he anticipates he might have the same problem.
