Battery powered tree helicopter, not the end of the world but definitely uncomfortable. My battery cover arrived broken and is now held in place with tape. The star itself is very cheaply made. Low quality plastic. Will probably last 2-3 Christmases before it breaks anywhere. The backlight is internal, sandwiched between two cheap plastic halves. The halves are attached with zippers. The thin film that fills the star is pretty neat. It turns LED lights into little stars, which is nice. The film in mine was wrinkled. Overall super cheap. In an emergency, it's enough, but still not very much.
