My mom loves this car phone mount. She asked me to buy her one, I originally intended to buy her one for her vents, but her vents are so small and tiny I wasn't sure if they would work. They are also vertical, which is also a problem in my experience. So I settled on this one, followed the directions and let it seal for over 30 minutes before even attempting to use it. It works by opening the sides with a button on the back and then pushing them inward to secure your phone. It took my mom a few days to get used to it, but she's a pro now. You need a flat surface in the car for installation. We looked at several surfaces and came to the conclusion that the windshield is best suited for this. She was concerned that the wind would affect visibility, but that is not the case at all.
