Great Value - Hand Tools

I wasn't sure based on previous reviews but I really like it. It can be awkward trying to keep what you want to cling to and the knick-knacks pressed against the item. I partially close mine first and then insert and tighten the keychain. The lack of a plastic or rubber part was not a problem. Hardware is not scratched. You could probably tape a cloth or something to it if you're really concerned. I've used it with faux leather sheets and a fabric keychain. Worked great with both.
