Finding socks for our very picky 6 year old daughter has always been a nightmare. If they didn't have bumps, they would slip off the back of her foot. Every crazy excuse you can think of we covered before school every morning UNTIL I ordered them on a whim. A word. GOD. They stay on, have a gel-like strip to keep them in place, they wash and dry well, they can be bleached (if needed) and they don't seem to make your feet sweat like 100% cotton socks. This is the only brand I will be buying for both girls now.
