The reason I bought them is because the description above says "...strong clear glass storage container" and the product description below also says "Clear glass container allows you to see". It is very important to me that my peppercorns and coarse Himalayan salt are in glass and not plastic. However, the container is made of plastic and not glass. They really should remove the lies from their product descriptions. I only gave 4 stars because I really like the performance. You grind just enough and not too little. They are cheap for two. I don't know if I will ever find a glass electric salt/pepper grinder as the design to house the battery is so complex. Non-battery powered grinders are glass, but I would like them to be battery powered.
