Hard rubber resembling hockey pucks. Works great when used correctly. Pros: + Solid rubber construction. + very grippy + rubber o-ring helps keep them in place in the car + wonderful tire rubber smell. This is potentially dangerous when lifting certain corners of the vehicle. I don't understand how these soft lugs can potentially withstand thousands of pounds of lateral/diagonal force. I would only recommend using this on a proper quad lift where the car goes straight up parallel to the ground while all the force on the jack plates is directed directly vertically at the car. Any lateral force will most likely crush and shear the rubber tab holding the pad in place.
