After my lift chair fell on the cables and even the extension; After having to heel the cables out of the way and lowering the chair into place more times than I could count, I decided I needed a box to put all my cables in and electronics to keep them all out of the way to keep. I didn't know if such a thing existed or if I would have to buy a big box of plastic utensils and cut holes in it. Lo and behold, DMoose beat me to it! They invented and perfected exactly what I needed! I looked at a bit of other models, but the wood grain finishes on DMoose products won me over. I'm in the process of transitioning my decor to Mid-Century Modern and her white boxes with a light wood texture are perfect. along the top. I like it when the cable exit comes from the top. A short charging cable for my headphones works better. I have all my little charging tips coming out of this top slot and I have a planned compact and weighted desktop cable holder and cable organizer to hold them all. It works very well. DMoose didn't move next to my chair, holding tight to the marble floor. It was big enough internally for a 6-pin power strip with staggered plugs, giving a little more room for today's larger plugs. I even have a bulky transformer from an old computer and lots of wires. I opened the case several times over the first few days to see if it got hot or even warm. My new computer has a very large box on the connector, eliminating the need for a two-piece cable and a transformer at the end of the first cable. Unfortunately, this large rectangular plug will not fit into the DMoose when the extension is on the back. The plug is too big. So I have to tilt the extension in DMoose a bit. Luckily my old computer's transformer is just the right size to place behind the extension cord so it stays at the right angle for me to close the DMoose box. I just took a picture of the box for this review and reminded myself that I also have the chair controller and backup battery! In the bottom right corner you can see a tall square connector for my new computer, which is why the extension cord doesn't lay flat. On the left is a large black box - the chair's electronics. You can see the copper color on the two 9V batteries for the chair support battery near the center of the box. So yes, this DMoose model can take a beating! You can also see how I miss the space between the chair, the side table next to my chair and the base of the lamp behind the table. Imagine all these electronics willy-nilly flying, crawling under a chair, backing up behind a chair where I can't see them, a mini dachshund sniffing them and moving them around. What a mess it used to be! I'm so glad I thought there must be a better way to organize everything, searched for it and found DMoose!
