I use fake cameras to scare people on my farm. They won't stop "professional" robbers, but they will make an amateur think twice. I put batteries in it so the red light flashes at night. The red light is also quite bright during the day, which I really like. A few hours of decent light and everything blinks all night. There are many designs and when used outdoors, waterproofing is the primary concern. Compared to others I've had, this desire seems more thoughtful. I don't think it seals better than the others, but it does have design elements that reduce the chance of water getting into problem areas. First, the batteries are mounted high in the case, so if water enters the batteries, the batteries will not be damaged. There's also a "canopy" cover that seals out almost all water from all seams. I tried this one because I could get four for the price I usually pay for two. So if they last about as long as the others, it's a steal.
