We just bought a fancy new washer and dryer. Problem? The washing machine is a little taller than our old one and the inside handle of our basement door cuts right into the detergent drawer. We usually open and close the door fairly carefully, but wind, dogs, and moving home-made appliances mean they hit our new washing machine at least every now and then. I bought this doorstop and it is PERFECT! It keeps the door from hitting the washing machine and it's also unobtrusive - if you notice it, it just looks cool, like a sci-fi gadget. If I slam the door really hard, the stopper absorbs the impact and tilts a bit like an old-school weeble-wobble, but the rubber bands allow it to gently tap the bottom of the washing machine without the door handle touching the top. This doorstop is very durable and hard wearing. Highly recommended!
