Everything in this pillow is soft. The fleece cover is as soft as possible and the pillow inside is as soft as the cover. And don't forget it, it puffs up nicely and doesn't pill much. The pattern is beautiful I know it comes with a matching bedspread as a gift for my husband I know. I only encourage him to snore in front of the TV! But still. I snore!
