This firm is a well-respected legal firm, and they have offices all over the U.S. They handled my case very professionally, and I was very happy with the level of service they provided. I was not happy with the billing structure of the firm, and I did not feel like I received a fair accounting of all my time. I believe that this firm is more costly than other firms, but the service that they provide is great. I was in need of a legal firm that would be able to handle a serious matter. I needed a firm that would be able to provide me with top-notch legal counsel. The staff at this firm was able to provide me with just that. I worked for Ballard Spahr from 2002-2005 when we were a small boutique practice group of about 30 attorneys. The culture was collegial, supportive, collaborative, professional, and fun! It's not that way anymore. There are too many egos now. Too much politics. Not enough collaboration. This is not a bad place to work if you like being part of a big firm but if you want camaraderie then look elsewhere.
