The t-shirts are very lightweight and pretty comfortable. However 1) they run a little small, so I would recommend buying one size larger if you like a loose fit; and 2) they are VERY thin, almost sheer - you can see thru the fabric to see the e.g. room (but no worries, others cannot see through the fabric to see your body or underwear). So because the t-shirt was so thin, I was skeptical whether it would protect my skin against sunburn. Unfortunately, my fears were realized. After only less than 30 minutes in the sun, I realized a few hours later that I had gotten a sunburn (on my back). Tried the sun exposure twice on different days to confirm it was not a fluke. Sunburn was not super painful, but the skin felt hot & irritated. I did not want to take the chance and stay in the sun longer as the t-shirt did not seem to be doing its "UPF" job and I didn't want to get an even worse sunburn. So, if you want a pretty comfortable, lightweight t-shirt, this is OK. But if you are expecting it to protect you from the sun outdoors, I would suggest you keep looking for other shirts elsewhere.
