I have bad legs: no arch, tendinitis, bursitis, work. I've danced in expensive patent leather dance shoes for years, tried jazz sneakers and so on. To be safe, I stood in my boots for 30 seconds and then. Boom; perfect new dancing shoes. I'm now the proud owner of the most comfortable dance shoes in Delaware: the New Balance 840s. I didn't even bother to cut/sand the rubber tread; I just glued these suede leaves on top. They are tight and I can clean them as usual. Note the measurements: 8.5 x 12 inches is just big enough to fit in my size 11 (US) men's running shoes, one shoe per vamp (diagonal). If you have smaller feet, you can put both shoes on the same sheet. In any case, save the excess material. Ladies like to use it to make suede boots to protect their heels.
