Looks like wearables are designed for working out. So I tried these glasses with a healthy dose of skepticism. And I'm incredibly impressed. I'm a bit of an audiophile and have several different headphones and earphones. Sound quality has always been the most important driver. And i love her. But they shut you out from the world, which can be both dangerous (when you don't see traffic coming) and isolating. The Flows Audio sunglasses are fantastic. While you're not listening to audiophile-quality music (which would be impossible given the limitations), you're getting crisp, clear sound. It focuses more on spoken language (podcasts, phone calls, audio books). The sound is easy to hear, but you also hear the sounds around you. This is appropriate for background music. I was amazed at how good the sound was and how easy it was to hear, especially something that's not only not in your ear but on your ear. It's fantastic because you can keep an eye on your surroundings while listening. It's also probably better for your hearing, since the sounds don't hit your eardrums directly. At lower audio settings, nobody around you will hear your speakers. Setting up a Bluetooth connection is easy. Sunglass lenses are large and protect your eyes from sunlight. With all the batteries, speakers and electronics in the frame, it's a bit heavier than regular sunglasses, but once I put them on I don't notice the extra weight. These glasses represent a quantum leap in wearable technology.
