Better than nothing I think
I hadn't noticed the 30 micron rating when I bought it. I don't know who has well water so pure it only needs 30 microns. I'm assuming the filter grade is good if your well has real rocks and sand, but if you don't want finer mineral deposits to discolor the taste of your well water, go for something like 5 microns or better, depending on the water pressure. / Systems. Switched to thread filters so my water doesn't smell like cans. Cannot send back because the shipping costs are too high. So enjoy my $24 or whatever.
