I bought this for my teenage son who often forgets where his phone or kindle is when he puts it where he likes. One day his phone slipped out of his pocket and slipped under the car seat. Because the car was parked in a garage, the phone was protected by both the garage and the car seat. It took me three hours to find it. I think Nut 3 will help me since it uses Bluetooth. Nut 3 measures approximately 1.5 x 1.5 inches. Slim so you can easily put it in your jeans pocket or hang it on your keys. Setup is very easy. Download the app, sign up for an account and the rest of the steps are self-explanatory. The Nut 3's ringer volume is loud enough that you can hear it in multiple rooms, but not too loud to be distracting. A pleasant surprise is that I thought it was for locating a device, key, phone, etc. Tests have shown that I can use Nut 3 to locate a phone as well. This is how I can connect Nut 3 to my son's Kindle. So if he finds one of those two things, he can find the other. The only thing I can't test right now is the battery life which I just got and started using. But so far I'm happy with the purchase.
