I have both Microsoft Surface and Sculpt and it has replaced both. I use an older version of this keyboard in the office and prefer this to that. It's definitely an improvement in feel and use. I really liked Sculpt, but I wasn't a big fan of key travel. And the surface was a mess; It looked great, the buttons were well spaced and felt more solid than the Sculpt, but it struggled to connect to my PC no matter what I tried. I didn't want to go back to a wired keyboard but for the price I decided to give it a try. My wireless keyboards are in the box. I work from home a lot and take classes online, so I type A LOT. I can work on this for hours and have no problems. The wrist pad is good, not great, but better than other Microsoft keyboards. And it's louder than other keyboards, but not as loud as a mechanical keyboard. To be honest the only complaint I have is the wire, but that's more of a preference than an issue. For the price, I'm very happy with the Freddy C keyboard.
