I only installed the vinyl cover today so cannot comment on the durability of this product. This was pretty easy to install, I wouldn't press hard on the texture part of the fly because it would be visible. I recommend using a microfiber cloth to smooth out the textured portion of the bow tie and using a smooth, thin piece of plastic like a credit card to smooth out the unstructured edges. Follow the directions and heat the vinyl to complete the product. Most importantly, don't rush! I will update.
