I broke my leg seriously last week. The third day of my children's summer vacation. This led to an operation to reconstruct the entire foot. That means I'll be on bed rest for the next long time. Bed rest! AAAA! It also means that by 32 I have a shower chair, toilet rod, wheelchair, crutches and really sexy stockings (Ted stockings) that help prevent blood clots. Do you understand how ridiculous this all is?! Interestingly, I have back problems. Now I have a lot of nice fittings on the back and leg. I can't take a shower without help! I needed help to walk back and forth and up and down from the toilet until the toilet rod arrived. Yes! Help pee! Talk about embarrassment! I can't carry ANYTHING on crutches, not even my phone! We are on our way to my company's annual meeting and I will be in a wheelchair all week because I have to walk far more than I can with crutches. I bet I blinded those crutches so quick! Wheelchair next! When my body acts like it's survived 90, at least my accessories will shine!
