oh my god they stink so much! I usually take regular Chaco strappy sandals for me and my son, but I decided to buy us both Odyssey shoes. In contrast to the adults, the children's version has a completely closed heel and they also have no way of draining the water that has penetrated. . It's a water shoe, so.?. Even if they are quickly removed and dried they stink, I contacted Chaco and they said to machine wash them and I will, but honestly I don't see it going away. None of his other shoes smell that bad. Even the ones he wears with no socks, like crocs and Nike sandals. The bad news is they're only a few months old and have only gotten wet twice. Now they end up in the trash can.
