Both my kids who have these LOVE them! I bought it for my 5 year old first and figured if my 12 year old (very petite and with multiple special needs) liked it I would order a second. And we have 2!I was most interested in the stability of the 2 wheels in front as both my kiddos I purchased for have some level of motor skill struggles. After the initial learning curve they both whip around our long paved driveway pretty fearlessly and they are used almost daily!Mine were both big for the fold down seat from the get go but it is a neat feature.They both lost interest in the music after the first few weeks and only remember it occasionally but it is cute (and you can never mention it and just leave batteries out if that in your thing. Your kids would never know! Im a teacher and good at zoning that stuff out!).The light up wheels are also cool but the interest was fleeting.All that said they are still used daily and a great investment!Also our neighbors, who have NO limitations or struggles with motor skills, also LOVE them and fly around on them as well! One of the boys next door is 8 and LOVES it!
