Review on HP HDMI VGA Adapter Ultrabook by Todd Phillips

This adapter will work as advertised. My problem is that the HDMI port is on the left side of my laptop. Because the adapter is relatively short, the VGA portion and matching VGA connector of my monitor add a lot of bulk to the left side of my workspace. I can't send in any papers or anything. If I put the monitor on the right side of the laptop I have cables going left and back. The monitor has screw bolts and the adapter has no threads to mount them. For example, the slightest bump on the left side of my laptop breaks the adapter and monitor cable. These are just inconveniences that I can overcome with an additional monitor if necessary. However, they are annoying.
