Review on Penn-Plax QN5 Quick Net for Fish: 5” x 4”, Strong & Durable, Swift and Safe Fish Transfer by Kenny Marquez

This net has a good name. I work in the water sports department of a pet store and bought this for work. (I hate "Brownies" nets! ) The net allows you to move and maneuver the net quickly and without resistance in the water. It also has no annoying air pockets that some nets have when first dipped in water. I have one Ordered 5" mesh which is perfect for most of our stash. This thing allows me to quickly and safely plant anything from fry viviparous to pictus. The only thing I wish was that the basket of the mesh was a little deeper .Depth can vary from net to net I don't know but mine seems a bit shallow to keep deep sea fish like angelfish and discus safe - I can't pinch the tip of the net to keep them from thrashing around without risking , eh ne of these high fins very satisfied with the fast net. The handle is solid and on the shorter side, which is just right for getting into the small cabins of our tank benches. PS: Please note what size you order. Don't order a 2 inch mesh and then complain about how small it is.
