Upgraded my old 2000 Generac 2400psi model to this pump. Old pump was worn out and tired. After replacing, when squeezing the wand, the power is truly incredible.One thing that did concern me was when removing the old pump, oil also came out with it. (photos). No worries, as the new model has all of that internal, even says it on the instructions.One thing upon installation to make sure and not miss, is to wipe the shaft with Anti-Seize. I believe this is also necessary because now it is not an enclosed system (photo). You will see that instead of pump being flush against engine, it now has standoffs, and there are gaps which will allow water and debris in.Excited to see how well it holds up in the future.
