Even if you've been climbing for a few months, you know how to choose shoes for yourself. Here are a few things that may help you decide if these shoes are right for you: - they work well for wider/shorter feet (like mine) - their strength is in the forefoot; The heel fit is acceptable but not as secure as my foot could be - they are CRAZY durable. I've been climbing with my pair for almost a year (2-5 times a week, v3-v5 indoor) and they're still doing fine. For comparison, my fives that I liked lasted 3 months under the same conditions - they do NOT stretch. I got 44 the first time, not 44.5. lost some nails. Last note: please try them yourself. I tried on about 3 other La Sportiva sneakers before buying a second pair, but none of them had a "glass slipper" feel. Every shoe is different. Every shoe needs a personal touch.
