I was afraid they would burn the tops of my legs but not really! I've done this twice as my feet get very big calluses if I don't prick them every day. It didn't take a lot of exfoliation the first time, but it definitely helped alleviate the dryness and made the exfoliation more effective. It wasn't long before I decided to give it another try to see if the repetition would make any difference - and yes! The peeling started after more than three days and ended after a week, but afterwards my feet are softer than they have been in a decade or more. And it doesn't hurt, I'm very happy with these inexpensive masks!
