Very strong and stable. Holds the tablet in a closed lid in both portrait and landscape modes (i.e. has wider protrusions than many other models). Heavy and non-tilting when operating the touchscreen, no slipping or vibration. Can be adjusted to almost any position (that maintains a stable center of gravity). The base has a soft rubber pad and 4 legs, so there is no risk of scratching the furniture. The tablet groove is also covered with rubber for extra protection and stability. The flex points are fairly stiff so it stays where you want it and doesn't flex under the weight of the tablet and case. It folds compactly for portability (but weighs up to 340 g [3/4 lb]). Highly recommended. PS: Don't worry about the iPad naming, it's not exclusive; It works great with our Samsung Android tablets
