The only reason I am writing this review is because of the reviews I have seen of similar products. The hardware in this product is solid and I was able to apply WD40 to the bolts and then use a drill at low speed to thread those bolts myself without drilling into the truck body first. Ford truck platforms are NOT threaded at the factory unless these plates are already installed. The bed is "plate ready" with a small hole for the screws, but you need to install the holes to install them. Even when using a drill, no screw broke off and the elimination of pre-drilling saves a lot of time. I wanted to point this out as some of these kits come with cheap screws, but this kit packs a punch! I also had a torx screwdriver in my kit and it didn't break.
