Review on πŸͺ Doughmakers 14 x 17.5 Grand Cookie Sheet - Commercial Grade Aluminum Bake Pan in Silver by Hayden Tang

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very good quality

Baked a batch of chocolate chip cookies today using this baking sheet and another brand of baking sheet that I have had for a long time. Kind regards. calls the Doughmakers cookie sheet "thick aluminum" but it's a lot lighter than the ones I already have. At the same time, it did not deform 350 degrees in the oven and did not deform when removed from the oven. The best feature, in my opinion, is the grip, which stretches the width of the blade. That makes it a lot easier to understand. I didn't use parchment paper on this pan to test the textured surface. The cookies did not stick or leave cookie marks on the sheet. Cleaning was easy, just soap, water and a washcloth. Comparing the cookies baked on this pan to my old one, it seemed to me that the textured surface meant the cookies didn't spread as much, resulting in a thicker cookie, which I prefer. I would like to purchase more bakeware from the Dough Mixer range. One caveat is that the Revain listing says they are sold by US suppliers. I assumed they were "made" in the USA. Wrong, only "delivered" from a US supplier. They are made in China. I prefer to buy American when I can and at least want to know where my product is made before making a decision. Otherwise I would have given five stars.
