Just installed a new 50" TV on the patio. There is only a small ledge above the set and it is quite exposed to the elements. The first week of shooting we were hit hard by the recent hurricane .We had an insane 6-8" of rain and I really wasn't sure if the waterproof coating (as advertised) would hold up to the heavy rain. Well, the set came completely dry, as did the cover. If this case is one Being able to withstand a hurricane with this amount of rainfall I'm not worried about eventual thunderstorms etc affecting the set as well Love the velcro bottom and back Bottom velcro on both sides and along the back It also has a large velcro flap on the back to release the swivel TV mount if that's your mount like mine It has e an additional Velcro seam or a slit in the back for a TV cable. I would highly recommend this finish and the brown color goes beautifully with my siding.
