I gave this hot pot 3 stars not because of its functionality but because the heating element on my heating element only cooks half way down the coil which is very annoying especially when cooking pasta, When one side cooks, the other side just stays there and I have to stir constantly to make sure everything is cooked properly. I would like one that heats the whole coil but my return date has already passed. This cooks the noodles really well, but be careful because they'll stick to the bottom, so you'll have to stir a lot or spray some Pam into the water to help. If something burns below, it's difficult to clean, but it can be done. To improve the quality of this product, it needs a built-in spout to drain the water, as well as a lid with a filter on one side to keep the noodles from falling out. Just a suggestion.
