This unit only took a few minutes to assemble. The foot clamp sits securely on my desk. The microphone arm is strong and easily holds the microphone and pop screen. All parts have adjustment clips/screws/or sliding levers that make this unit truly adjustable for your setup. A simple USB plug to a standard B plug for a microphone works well and is securely attached with a gasket. Depending on your home office/studio/desk/workspace, you can determine where you need to block outside noise. If you have soundproof panels everywhere it will sound great and you will be able to block out all outside noise. This can be used with your laptop or directly with your recording device. Its versatility (and portability) makes it a winner. If you need to take it with you on the go, the entire unit, including the stand and filter, fits in your backpack. Excellent value for money and quality.
