This is our first induction experience and it has been positive. Even though the instructions are quite simple, we're still searching/pushing buttons to get what we want. I have always avoided induction because you have to use "special pans". Most of my new pans seem to be induction compatible these days so doubts are gone. In any case, if your pans aren't labeled, a magnet is included so you can check your pans. This induction hob brings water to a boil quickly and turns off again quickly after it has been switched off - without any delay, like electric hotplates. The cooker has a timer so you can simmer for a set amount of time and it will turn off (e.g. boil eggs). The settings are preset and I'm still learning the settings - I'd love to be able to set my own temperature but not sure if that's possible. We pressed the minus button, but it only goes to the next predetermined level. The hob is bigger and thicker than I expected. I thought it would be more elegant/modern.
